Socioeconomic Inequality

Socioeconomic Inequality

What determines socioeconomic differences in educational outcomes, and which interventions can raise skills and achievement among disadvantaged children? I conduct field experiments and survey-based research to explore the drivers of educational choices, and examine the impact of educational interventions.
Public Support for Climate Action

Public Support for Climate Action

What determines individual willingness to act against climate change? And how high is the global support for climate action? I conduct large-scale surveys around the globe to study the actual and perceived willingness for climate action, as well as the role of social norms.
Gender Inequality

Gender Inequality

What drives individual labor supply decisions of mothers and fathers when they have young children? And what are the determinants of support for gender-related public policies? I conduct large-scale surveys in different countries to study the role of beliefs and preferences in determining labor supply choices as well as individual support for gender policies.
